At Stamford Bridge with EPL Trophy and Carling Cup.
Glad that the new season is finally upon us.
Even more glad to see Torres hasn’t lost his scoring touch despite the awful show put up by his team mates.
Oh Fernando, what a goal to welcome back the new BPL season. Bring back the crown for us, good lad.
Too tired from work to blog about anything else for now.
Not easy running a football league albeit an amateur one. I have realised that it can be quite an administrative nightmare. I’m slowly getting the hang of it though. I think.

Finally back from reservist on Friday and spent most of Saturday with The Manc. Now I am blogging away while waiting for the time to leave the house for some Sunday footie.
Reservist has been a lot tougher than expected but I wouldn’t say it was not enjoyable at all. It was about as siong as anything I have ever done in the green uniform but I’ve always appreciated the camaraderie among peers formed in such conditions.

Finaly got back from reservist for a bit for a round of uniform washing and some Manc time. Can’t believe I have to book in back by tonight. I thought all this was over when the SAF gave me back my pink IC. Serve And Fuck off? You wait long long.

It feels funny to be in no.4 uniform again after more than 4 years of uninterrupted civilian life.
Two weeks into my new job, my reservist call up came with such bad timing. The folding of the smart four, lazy-chaining of the boot laces, and the packing of the field pack came almost naturally and did nothing to shock my civilian mind.

Great game of footie we had this morning, albeit in the blazing hot sun. Austin had a hangover and was a lot more quite than usual.Reference of cheeseburgers and my weight were about all that he could muster. Starting out in defence and ending up in attack, I finally found the net, scoring two goals. One of which was a delicately placed header Oliver Bierhoff would have been proud of. Ehem.

Friday saw the end of my first week in my brand new job. It’s been a good experience. People are nice, the environment is friendly and best of all, I finally get to work in a position related to my beloved sport, football.
